At Northern Cards, there are no stupid questions. Here you can find the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions, though if you have any additional ones, you can contact us online here or send us an email to enquiries@northerncards.com. 

 

OUR CARDS

  Are your products high-quality?
They sure are! We use 300 GSM uncoated paper, which is both recycled and recyclable, and each card has its own premium envelope included. Some of our greeting cards have the added luxury of gold foil stamping, which literally makes these products shine! By applying a thin film of metal to the paper, we get gorgeous results and your customers will be even more tempted by the eye-catching designs.
  Do all of your cards come with envelopes?
Yes, each card has its own premium envelope included.
  Are your cards environmentally friendly?
Our cards are absolutely environmentally friendly. We use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) paper, which means it's made from responsible sources and has been verified to meet their strict environmental and social standards.
  What exactly will I receive in my package when I order?
If you order our cards, they often come with their own lovely printed box that you can reuse, as well as envelopes. We're also branching out into selling home gifts too, such as our new magnetic notepads.
  Can you send me a catalogue of your cards?
We don't send out full catalogues, as our website shows our up-to-date catalogue of cards here and you can find all our cards on Amazon too. You can visit our Amazon Canada Store here and our Amazon US Store here to find out more.
  Can you send me samples of your cards?
For sure! If you are a wholesaler or distributor, contact us here, by email to samples@northerncards.com or by calling 1 888 969 2599 during business hours and we will send you some samples.

ORDERING

  Do I have to register with your site to shop with you?
No, you don't need to register with our site but as our cards are on sale at Amazon, you'll need an Amazon account to buy our products. If you don't yet have an account, you can create one as you shop.
  How do I place an order online?
It's super easy. Just click on the Amazon link to the product from the listing to buy on Amazon. You can choose Amazon USA or Amazon Canada directly from our listings.
  What payment types do you accept?
Amazon accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express debit, credit, pre-paid credit and gift cards, as well as Amazon gift cards.
  Is there a minimum order spend?
You can easily check on Amazon before purchasing. If you have Prime membership, there may not be a minimum order spend at all!
  Do I get a discount for larger orders?
Yes! We strive to offer our wholesalers and distributors one of the highest margins in the industry. If you are planning on ordering more then 5,000 cards in a single order then send us an email or give us a call. We will sharpen our pencils and provide you with an even better price.
  I have a promotional code. How do I use it?
You can add your promo code to Amazon as you shop.
  Can I cancel an order?
This depends on Amazon, so check the order details in your account.

SHIPPING

  How much does shipping cost?
Amazon Prime members can get free shipping, while non-Prime members can benefit from free shipping when spending a certain amount. You can easily check on Amazon once you have added products to your basket.
  Which carriers do you use to ship your products?
As we use Amazon's fulfilment centres, Amazon decides which shipper to use to deliver your goods, so you can check with them.
  Are your cards protected in storage at Amazon?
Definitely! We pack them well before shipping to the Amazon warehouses.
  When will you ship my order?
Amazon ships your order as soon as possible and Prime members may even benefit from one-day delivery!

RETURNS

  What is your returns policy?
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If for any reason you're not satisfied, we will refund your purchase price - no questions asked. Simply contact Amazon with your request and if for any reason it's not accepted, please send us a message via our 'Contact' section on our website.

SUBMISSIONS FROM ARTISTS

  Do you accept artist submissions?
Yes! Digital files must be finished in every way, and completely ‘print ready’. All cards must include both an inside verse and an outside verse. We are not looking for photographic designs and the majority of our cards appear to be hand-drawn. We are a mainstream supplier and our market is North America. Cards can be traditional, contemporary, humorous or edgy but they can’t be profane in nature. Please review our online catalogue by clicking on our 'Cards' section, which will give you a guide to our successful designs for your reference. This is not meant to exclude other types of designs or other art styles, however; it’s meant purely as a sample of what has been appealing to our consumers. It’s also meant as a guidance as to the calibre of the work we require, though we are not looking for duplicates of these designs. Finished file(s) must be the folded size of 5.5” x 7.75”, the design can be portrait or landscape, and we must have an 1/8” bleed on all 4 sides. The artwork needs to be in vector format, with fonts outlined. Please submit PDF images for our initial review. Remuneration is $150.00 for each purchased design. We're available to answer questions and to provide general feedback but please note that our assessment committee only meets three to four times a year and then only contacts those artists we select to publish.

PRIVACY POLICY

  What is your privacy policy?
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from northerncards.com (the “Site”).
